“วายเอ็นเตอร์เทน อวอร์ด” (Y ENTERTAIN AWARDS)
ที่มา : ส่งเสริมวงการบันเทิง Y สู่สากล
กว่าทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา อุตสาหกรรมบันเทิงซีรีส์วาย (Y Series) ของไทยประสบความสำเร็จและเติบโตอย่างก้าวกระโดด ด้วยปรากฎการณ์ซีรีส์วาย ทั้ง Boys’ Love และ Girls’ Love ที่ได้รับความนิยมเพิ่มมากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออก และเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ จากจุดเริ่มต้นของบทประพันธ์เค้าโครงจากนิยายนำเสนอเรื่องราวโดยมีตัวละครเอกของเรื่องเป็นเพศเดียวกัน นำมาสร้างสรรค์เป็นซีรีส์หลากหลายเรื่องราว ทั้งเนื้อหาความรักโรแมนติก ดรามาสะท้อนชีวิต สอดแทรกมุมมองของ LGBTQ+ การค้นหาตัวตน สู่การเปิดเผยรสนิยมด้านความรัก (Coming Out) และการพยายามส่งสารให้สังคมยอมรับความหลากหลายทางเพศ ในยุคสมัยแห่งการเปลี่ยนผ่านมุมมองความรักระหว่าง ชาย - ชาย , หญิง - หญิง จนเกิดเป็นกระแสในวงกว้างและมีส่วนผลักดันให้เกิดการสนับสนุนการเปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสร้างกฎหมายความเสมอภาคของคู่สมรสเพศเดียวกันในประเทศไทย
ด้วยคุณภาพของบทประพันธ์ บทซีรีส์ ความสามารถของนักแสดง และองค์ประกอบศิลป์ด้านต่าง ๆ ตลอดจนการสอดแทรกวัฒนธรรมไทย ที่ทีมงานทั้งเบื้องหน้าและเบื้องหลังทุ่มเทสร้างสรรค์อย่างเต็มกำลัง จนสามารถดึงดูดให้คนทั่วโลกสนใจในวงการบันเทิงวายไทย สร้างมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจมหาศาล และในอนาคตอันใกล้นี้คาดว่าจะสามารถก้าวสู่ระดับสากลหากได้รับการผลักดันอย่างเต็มที่
ดังนั้น เพื่อส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมบันเทิงวายไทย ให้พร้อมก้าวสู่ระดับสากล และเพื่อเชิดชูเกียรติบุคลากรในวงการวายทั้งเบื้องหน้าและเบื้องหลัง ให้มีกำลังใจในการพัฒนาสร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่มีคุณภาพอย่างต่อเนื่อง บมจ. อสมท จึงมีนโบายในการส่งเสริมผลักดันอุตสาหกรรมดังกล่าว ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในซอฟต์พาวเวอร์ของไทย โดยการจัดงานประกาศผลรางวัล “วายเอ็นเตอร์เทน อวอร์ด”
ทั้งนี้ เพื่อความโปร่งใส ยุติธรรม การพิจารณารางวัลในแต่ละสาขา จึงพิจารณาโดยคณะกรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากหลากหลายสาขา อาทิ ผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพที่คร่ำหวอดในวงการบันเทิง นักวิชาการด้านสื่อสารมวลชน รวมถึงประชาชนทั่วไปสามารถร่วมเสนอรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิงรางวัลและร่วมตัดสินผลรางวัลได้ในบางประเภทรางวัล

Origin : To promote the Y entertainment industry to the international stage.
Over the past decade, Thailand's Y series entertainment industry has achieved tremendous success and rapid growth. The phenomenon of Y series, both Boys' Love and Girls' Love, has gained increasing popularity, particularly in East Asia and Southeast Asia. Originating from novels featuring same-sex main characters, these stories have been adapted into a variety of series, exploring themes of romantic love, bright and cheerful narratives, perspectives on LGBTQ+ issues, the search for identity, coming out, and the effort to encourage society to embrace sexual diversity. This shift reflects the evolving perspective on love between men and men, women and women, and has even played a role in supporting structural legal changes, such as granting equality to same-sex marriages in Thailand.
With the quality of the novels, series scripts, actors' abilities, and artistic elements, along with the infusion of Thai culture, the dedication and hard work of both front-stage and behind-the-scenes teams have garnered global attention to Thailand's Y entertainment industry. This has created economic value and, in the near future, it is expected that the industry could reach an international level, comparable to leading countries in other entertainment industries, if fully supported.
To promote the Y series entertainment industry and prepare it to reach the global stage, as well as to honor the individuals in the industry—both in front of and behind the scenes—by motivating them to continuously develop and create quality work, MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT) is taking part in driving this industry forward, recognizing it as one of Thailand’s soft powers. This will be achieved through organizing the “Y Entertain Awards” ceremony.
The award selection in each category aims to be transparent, fair, and inclusive, allowing everyone to participate in the “Y Entertain Awards.” The selection will be conducted by a panel of distinguished judges from various fields, including experienced professionals from different branches of the entertainment industry, mass communication scholars, as well as the general public, who can nominate candidates and take part in determining the award winners.
จำนวนรางวัล ประกอบด้วย 14 รางวัล แบ่งเป็น(Overview of Award Categories)
แบ่งเป็น รางวัลจากการตัดสินของคณะกรรมการ จำนวน 9 รางวัล รางวัลจากการโหวตของประชาชนทั่วไป จำนวน 5 รางวัล รางวัลจากการตัดสินของคณะกรรมการ จำนวน 9 รางวัล ได้แก่ 1. The Best BL Series of the Year (ซีรีส์ Boys' love แห่งปี) 2. The Best GL Series of the Year (ซีรีส์ Girls' love แห่งปี) 3. Leading Boys' love Star of the Year (นักแสดงนำ Boys' love แห่งปี) 4. Leading Girls' love Star of the Year (นักแสดงนำ Girls' love แห่งปี) 5. The Best Y Series Director of the Year (ผู้กำกับยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปี)

กติกาและเกณฑ์ตัดสินรางวัลจากการโหวต(Selection Rules for Awards Based on Voting)
1.ซีรีส์วายไทย Boys' Love และ Girls' Love ที่ออกอากาศในประเทศไทย ตั้งแต่ เดือนตุลาคม ถึง เดือนกันยายนปีถัดไป โดยในปีแรกของการจัดงานพิจารณาผลงานที่เผยแพร่ระหว่างเดือนตุลาคม 2566 ถึง เดือนกันยายน 2567 ออกอากาศผ่านสถานีโทรทัศน์ทีวีดิจิทัล หรือสตรีมมิ่งแพลตฟอร์ม (OTT) โดยเผยแพร่ที่ประเทศไทยเป็นครั้งแรก ซีรีส์ที่เข้าชิงจะต้องมีนักแสดงและทีมงานเป็นคนไทย และดำเนินเรื่องด้วยภาษาไทย (ภาษากลางและภาษาถิ่น) ทั้งนี้ พิจารณารวมถึงซีรีส์ไทยที่ร่วมทุนกับต่างประเทศ

1. The Best BL Series of the Year (ซีรีส์ Boys' love แห่งปี) รางวัลที่มอบให้แก่สุดยอดซีรีส์ Boys' love ที่มีผลงานเป็นที่ประจักษ์ทั้งในด้านเนื้อหา นักแสดง ภาพรวมโปรดักชัน รวมถึงสอดแทรกคุณค่าอันสร้างสรรค์ให้แก่สังคม เงื่อนไข: ซีรีส์วายไทยที่มีนักแสดงนำเป็น คู่ชาย - ชาย ออกอากาศในประเทศไทย โดยเริ่มออกอากาศภายในเดือน ตุลาคม 2566 - กันยายน 2567 ออกอากาศผ่านสถานีโทรทัศน์ทีวีดิจิทัล หรือสตรีมมิ่งแพลตฟอร์ม (OTT) โดยเผยแพร่ที่ประเทศไทยเป็นครั้งแรก ซีรีส์ที่เข้าชิงจะต้องมีนักแสดงและทีมงานเป็นคนไทย
